About the Training:
-
Our programs are open to therapists, counselors, coaches, and holistic practitioners with a grounding in client-facing work. You don’t need prior experience in IFS, but a curiosity about inner parts and self-leadership is key.
-
No, but we ask that participants have some training in working with people — for example, counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, bodywork, or spiritual direction.
-
Our 12-day program provides depth and experiential learning similar to IFS Level 1 training, but it is delivered through our own OneSelf framework. While it is not affiliated with or run by the Internal Family Systems Institute (IFSI) in the U.S., our program is designed with integrity and respect for the principles of the IFS model.
Certification & CPD:
-
Yes. We provide CPD certificates for all our trainings, including the number of hours completed and a summary of learning outcomes.
-
Yes. Our training meets the CPD standards of BACP and UKCP, which focus on relevance to your practice and reflective learning. Our participants can use our certificates in their CPD portfolios.
Structure & Access:
-
Our trainings are in-person modules, with some online activities depending on the offering. Each includes teaching, demos, small group practice, and space for reflection and integration.
-
We sometimes record teaching segments, but live attendance is essential — especially for experiential elements like group practice and discussion.
-
We understand that life happens. If you need to miss a session, please let us know in advance. We may ask you to complete a reflection or arrange a catch-up where possible. 80 % attendance is necessary to certify.
IFS, Parts Work & Our Approach:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a structured model of working with inner parts and Self energy created by Richard C. Schwartz. “Parts work” is a broader term, where we also align our teachings with the IFS model. But we are coming from a practitioner perspective and weave in some more mindfulness-based traditions.
-
This is professional training with strong experiential elements — you will likely grow personally, but it is not a substitute for therapy. We encourage participants to be in ongoing therapeutic or reflective support during the course.
Booking & Payment:
-
You can register directly on our website or contact us if you’d like to talk first. A deposit holds your place, and the remaining balance is due before the training begins.
-
Yes, we want our trainings to be accessible. Please get in touch to discuss payment options that work for you.
Connection & Community:
-
Absolutely. We are growing a warm and skilled practitioner community. There will be optional practice groups, supervision spaces, and advanced workshops for those who want to continue the journey
